Dear Sr. Supt. Purisima,
 
            News about your relief from your post as PNP Provincial Commander came as a surprise to us, local government officials, who have worked closely with you in establishing peace and order in our respective localities.

            We are deeply disappointed with this sudden turn of events. It was the least that we expected for we are fully aware of the innovative and the effective crime prevention and solution strategies you introduced to improve the peace and order situation in the province.
            The measures you implemented at a time when the City of Dagupan was easy prey to bank robbers certainly established a peace and order in the City, and most importantly, a sense of security for our constituents and investors.
            Even before your term as PNP Provincial Commander, you have proven your worth and moral integrity as a public servant. It is not beyond our knowledge that you have served as a competent and incorruptible team leader of the PAOCTF.
            For all that you have done in the name of public service, your relief was certainly uncalled for.
            Nevertheless, we remain steadfast in extending our support to you for we sincerely believe in your competence and moral integrity.
